Sincerely Jules

I really love Jules blog it's so descriptive and interesting and especially to someone like me who loves beauty, fashion and anything else like that. Jules blogs are really nice to read like in one blog she talks about St. Tropez and how much she loves it. Jules explains how beautiful her hotel is, the Villa Marie, she talked about how it was surrounded with gorgeous pine trees and had the best chocolate. Jules also talked about how relaxing it was there, by the pool to just sit and eat something before going out. she mentioned that the weather there was perfect not to hot but not to cold. the way she describes it really makes me want to go sometime.

I have heard about a lot of celebrities going there and they always love it. i think it would be so much fun to go on vacation there. she also talks about how her hotel is looking over the whole town and how great of a view it is. She's talks about how colorful the buildings are and how the town is so beautiful.

Calvin Klein and Raf Simons

Recently male and female creative directors for Calvin Klein, Francisco Costa and Italo Zucchelli quit. They were replaced by Raf Simons ex creative director at Christian Dior. I'm not very familiar with Raf but I know that Francisco will be a hard act to follow, he has experience at Tom Ford and Gucci, he also won the CDFA's womenswear designer of the year award in 2006 and 2008. Francisco also created outfits for Calvin Klein that made it on the red carpet and many more. Although Francisco did an amazing job during his fourteen years with Calvin Klein, Raf could also do great things for the company. Raf did work at Dior for twelve years and from what I have read he was well liked over there and will be missed. Raf joining the company was officially announced on August 2, from now on he will be watched to see what he is going to do for the company.

When I first got into fashion design it was in the beginning of my eighth grade year. I started designing some of my own clothing and getting really interested in the subject. I even plan on going to a fashion design college and majoring in fashion and minoring in business. I have looked at many great fashion colleges and one of my favorites is the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. I looked at the list of alumni and saw that Calvin Klein was on it, that's one of the many reasons how I know it's a good school. I would love to intern at a fashion design company and although it's a long shot, Calvin Klein is at the top of that list.
